If you don’t know who Vince Gil is, you definitely should. The short and brief description of who he is would be he’s American country singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His first achievement was singing as the frontman to the country rock band Pure Prairie League in the 1970s. Later he gave himself a shot as a solo artist in 1983.
Not only has he recorded more than 20 studio albums, but he’s also charted over 40 singles on the U.S Billboard charts of Hot Country Songs. He’s sold over 26 million albums, been honored by the CMAs with 18 awards including two for Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards.
The list goes on with his 21 Grammy Awards… that’s more than ANY other male country music artist! All of his hard work and dedication to the country music industry has earned him an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame back in 2007 and consequently cemented his respect in the country music industry forever onward.
Not only is he an accomplished musician, but he also has quite a talent for collecting and picking out collectible guitars.
“Just looking at them is like art – it’s like a painting – and they each tell a story,” says Gill.
